Amier is now 48. Amier is summoned by his fathers most loyal old friend, the servant (father of hassan) after Amier agrees to meet him, hassans father reveals alot that amier wished that he hadn't., one was that Hassan, and his wife had been killed in Kabul because the taliban wanted the house they were living in, however, hassan was able to have a child, a strapping young lad, that amier had been very close to, never missed a beat of his life, and hassans father asked amier to go rescue him from an orphanage in Kabul. Amier is confused as to why he would ask him to do it. then Hassan's father reveals another secret, He had a first wife, but was un-able to father any children, however, when she re-married she bore three daughters, by this time Amier was questioning how he could be in-fertile if he had had hassan. and then Bam! "I think you know" you father was the illigetimate father of hassan, and then lights went on, ringing back to pas events, why Baba attended all of hassans birthdays, and other functions, Amier was furious, and described it later as "coming home to your house to find all of the furniture re-arranged", it's all there but all different" he later calms down, and returns to Kabul to rescue Hassan's son and return him to a foster family in the unites states.

Amier is now 47 years old, and has been married to his wife, the daughter of the general (i'm blanking on his name r/n) for over twenty years now, and they still are un-able to have a child, both amier, and his wife get numerous tests, and they are both able to have children, but at the same time are not able to. by this time baba has also been dead for 10 years, this crushed amier, and his wife because they had both been very close to him.

Post, ugh, cant remember.

Amier is now 22 years old, and he is now escaping from his home town to packistan to fly to america. on his way, he sees all of his past landmarks and places he's known, once amier, and his father get to the U.S, baba gets a job managing a gas station, and amier goes to school, eventually majoring in english, and that night, his father presents him with a car as a graduation gift, a ford Grand Tourino, old, and rusty, but "it runs" as he said. amier is thrilled

Post Vii

The Kite Runner

This bulk of reading this time was a lot more disturbing, it begins Amier is out looking for Hassan to see if he had gotten the kite. Amier was walking down a dark alley way, and he heard somthing, he heard hassan, and the boy with the stainless-steel brass knuckles, he tries to bargain with Hassan, trading the kite for his "safe" return home. He refuses to give up the kite, and the other buy gets irritated, and the book does not say so, but i believe he was f-ed in the A.

The kite runner:
This lump of reading has been slightly more interesting, Amier starts describing the flying of the kites, and the materials needed to manufacture the kites, they are made of bamboo shafts, paper, and the strings are made of normal twine, tar, and glass shards, to cut others kites, once this happens, each kite flyer has a kite runner that goes and retrieves the cut kite after the klipping, Amier's was Hassan, Hassan was by far the best kite runner, always pre-umptively getting to where the kite was to land.

The Kite Runner:
amier explains his relationship to his family, and more spacifically, his brother, and dad. He explains how when he was born, his parents hired a woman to nurse him, and when his brother was born, they hired the same woman to nurse him, Amier explains, that nursing from the same breasts as your kin, creates a bond stronger than blood, also he explains his father, he was the only one in his vilage that people actually believed stories from; he speaks of a bear attack, and everyone believed him. thats about as far as I am, I'll keep posting as i "read" and by that i mean listen.

The Kite Runner: By kahled housinni, so far in this book, the narrator is describing his residence in great deal, including the people in the house, eventho I am only as far as the 2nd chapter, this book is surprisingly good so far, butI hope it stays that way, otherwise, this will not be a fun project be any means**

I chose The Kite Runner for my Q4 outside reading book, i chose it solely for the purpose that It fits the rquirements, and Ms West approved it, finally, after purchasing a book, i had to purchase a 2nd one, Woot, not.

for my outside reading book, i chose Driven: Inside BMW, the Most Admired Car Company in the World (Hardcover), but according to Ms. West, even tho my book fits all requirements, i cant write about BMW, so thats my most current update.-Berger
